EARLI offers two types of membership.
FULL membership,
which requires:
- an appropriate academic qualification, having a PhD degree;
- an activity in research in a Research University or Research Centre in the field of learning and instruction;
- a professional involvement in research on innovations in teaching and learning.
A PhD is a strict requirement for membership; after registration, a copy of your PhD degree should be sent to EARLI Office, Mrs. Tonia Davison, Peterseliegang 1, Box 1, 3000 Leuven, Belgium.
JURE membership,
which requires:
- a subscription to a master or a PhD programme.
- Graduates who have received their doctorate within the last two years can also apply for JURE membership.
JURE members are requested to provide the EARLI Officer with proof of their student status consisting of a letter signed by their supervisor or a document stating the year in which their PhD was received and this within 2 weeks after applying for membership.
Please note that both EARLI membership types run from January 1st until December 31st.
