EARLI SIG 11 Teaching and Teacher Education Conference Fribourg, Switzerland
17 - 20 August 2008

We are pleased to announce that the conference venue in 2008 will be at the University of Fribourg, near the beautiful medieval town centre of Fribourg in Switzerland. Following the productive tradition established in our previous SIG 11 conferences in Stavanger (Norway) and Cork (Ireland), we especially encourage paper submissions related to the theme of the next biannual EARLI conference in Amsterdam (2009): Fostering Communities of Learning.  Presentations related to this theme will encourage further interaction and enable joint projects for the preparation of the next main EARLI conference. In addition, any other new (ongoing) work in the field of teaching and teacher education is welcome. The conference language is English.
