JURE 2025 - International Organising Committee

Being a JURE member of EARLI offers a great way to get involved with a large academic community. We actively include JURE members in the organisation of our conferences and activities, as a learning experience in conference management and event planning.

As such, we are happy to launch this call for members of our JURE 2025 International Organising Committee (IOC), tasked with organising the annual online JURE Career Day (February 2025) and the upcoming JURE 2025 Conference (23 and 24 August 2025) in Graz, Austria.

Are you interested in contributing to the organisation of this international conference for Junior Researchers or do you consider this as a valuable learning opportunity for one of your PhD students?

Applications are welcomed until the 30th of May, midnight CEST.

We also encourage all senior researchers to motivate their PhD students and junior colleagues to apply for this unique opportunity to get involved with EARLI.

WHY APPLY?

As EARLI is one of the largest educational associations in Europe and JURE is the only Junior Conference of its kind, you will benefit from a unique insight into the workings of the association and enjoy first-hand experience in conference organising.

Organising a JURE Conference offers an authentic training in event planning and conference management. Additionally, the JURE 2025 International Organising Committee is tasked with hosting the annual JURE Career Day, an online event consisting of workshops and networking opportunities specifically aimed at offering career guidance for junior and early career researchers.

As a committee member, you will be working with peers from all over Europe, allowing for an interesting exchange between colleagues and many networking opportunities!

And, of course, it is great fun to be part of the organising committee!
