Mission Statement
The SIG aims to promote research and theory development in the area of researcher education and careers, both academic and non-academic. By researcher, we mean individuals with up to 10 years' experience including their doctorate: doctoral students, post-PhD researchers, newly-hired lecturers as well as professionals in universities and beyond. The SIG aspires to encourage, recognize and support innovative research-based practices that better prepare future researchers for their careers, and thus address priorities in graduate and postgraduate education and training.
